Convert Sequence Codes

Oligowizard.com uses its own letter code to differentiate between various 2' Modifications (see list below).
Here, we provide a tool to easily convert between these nucleotides.

Be aware that the tool will ONLY convert the type of nucleotide you selected (e.g. only LNA) and will leave all other nucleotides unchanged.
This is useful for easily changing the flanking region of an RNaseH-competent gapmer from MOE to LNA without affecting the DNA gap.
If you have an RNA sequence that uses the very common A/C/G/U letter code, be aware that 'A', 'C', and 'G' are treated as DNA, while only 'U' is recognised as an RNA base.
If you need to change a mixmer sequence to a homogeneous chemistry, simply input the output again and run the script with the remaining chemistry selected.

Please note that lower case letters are used to denote phosphorothioate linkages (PS) on the backbone, while capital letters symbolise regular phosphate diesters (PO).
The tool will change the lettering but will preserve capitalisation.
